Thought i would let you know i read your book last night and believe me when i say it's about time someone step up to the plate and let people know what end of the canon thier reaching for when they just go out and buy anything that moves. wish i could of read your book a few years back it would have helped a lot. I have six horses two which you can ride and three that needs broke. One is a old girl that i got for nothing. But as you say nothing is free. I don't want to be a pro. trainer and i have the rest of my life to work on the three. and i have had some education with horses so maybe in four or five years i'll have five to ride. thanks agin smokie.

smoke read your book and really loved it. It
is refreshing to have someone come out with a book that tells it like it is. To many people try to surger coat everything and end up with people getting hurt or not wanting to have anything to do with these fine animals. I don't want to be a pro trainer but i do want to keep my self heathy and wish i had read your book a long time ago. keep up the fine work and have a great year.

Howdy, Really professional and clean. Like your down to earth straight forward style and all the little quips. Will have to read the book someday. I have Buck's ground training video. But would like to read the book someday. Maybe at the Fair this spring. Had to cut back on memberships with all the high prices this year. Happy Winter Holidays. Cynthia and the horse family.

I read this book cover to cover in the first 24 hours! I laughed so hard but, it was like looking in a mirror. I can't believe that I've done so much wrong and am still alive!!! Oh my gosh, not only did I make all those mistakes once but, I turned around and did it again!!!! I wish I would have read this book before I bought my first 2 horses but, I still would have made the mistakes I made (I know myself by now and I should - at my age). Oh a great note, I still have my first 2 horses, they've been a real learning experience for me since between the two of them at the time I bought them combined, they only had a grand total of 6 rides on them and all those rides were on the second one!!! To be honest, my first horse went into about 70 days of training the day I bought her and I unraveled her in less than 7 days (green on green). However, we continue to learn together and I work really hard to get them right.
Thanks Smokie, I think I now know what I'll be giving out as Christmas Gifts this year! I really love horses!
